Have a BLAST in the Backcountry and on the Mountain

Arctic Cat are betting big on helping grow the entry segment…good call Cat!

Built for the new mountain rider but still a blast in the backcountry for the experienced rider, the all-new, true, mid-size Arctic Cat® BLAST™ M 4000 combines the DNA of the full-size Arctic Cat mountain sleds with a smaller stature and mill, offering a fun deep-snow experience. Its value price, paired with innovative technology and performance, makes it the perfect sled for a wide-variety of mountain and backcountry riders.

Powered by the industry’s first electronic fuel-injected, single-cylinder, 2-stroke, C-TEC2™ 4000 397cc engine, the BLAST M 4000 not only has plenty of power for the experienced rider but also has smooth power delivery for the new rider.

. To get the power to the snow, the sled is equipped with the proven Arctic Drive System with CVTech Trailbloc drive clutch and CVTech Invance driven clutch. To complement the power, the all-new, mid-size, lightweight chassis provides effortless maneuverability to carve through the snow. Along with the smaller chassis, a new, mid-size seat makes it simple for the rider to transfer weight when cornering.

The BLAST M 4000 features the Arctic Cat Mountain Suspension (AMS) with lightweight spindles and mountain-specific suspension geometry. The front suspension has 7.2 in. of travel, an adjustable 37-39-in. ski stance and 7-in. G2 ProClimb™ skis for all-condition predictability and deep-snow floatation. In back, the proven ALPHA ONE™ Single-Beam Rear Suspension is constructed of extruded aluminum and magnesium. The suspension provides 12 in. of big bump absorption and agility beyond traditional deep snow sleds. Hydraulic twin tube shocks — front and back — provide ample absorption while a 146-in. Challenger track with 2-in. lug provides all-around performance and great traction.

The key start on the BLAST M 4000 enables the rider to turn the key and go. Easy-to-read digital instrumentation provides standard data, while hand and thumb warmers ensure an enjoyable experience even in the coldest of weather. Getting to-and-from the backcountry is no issue due to the sled’s 11.7-gal. fuel tank that allows the rider to play all day. The new, sleek bodywork is all Arctic Cat and provides the perfect finishing touch to the mid-size mountain sled.

The BLAST M 4000 is available in Dynamic Charcoal/Orange, and special edition Camo/White/Fire Red with choice of American Flag, Canadian Flag or standard Camo/White/Fire Red. The sled is available through the Snowmageddonpre-order event.

Other BLAST models include the trail BLAST ZR® 4000, perfect for the whole family, and sport utility BLAST LT 4000 for the rider who wants to work and play. Arctic Cat is offering a full line of accessories for the new models including front bumpers, ice scratchers, hand guards, and rear rack and storage options. More information at ArcticCat.com.
